The all new next-generation Suzuki Swift was launched only last week, and we already have a rendering of the Suzuki Swift Sport based on the new Swift. The new Swift Sport will have visual enhancements to the body such as a new, more aggressive front bumper, with wide air intakes, side skirts and a new rear bumper to complement the new front bumper.
The new Swift Sport will in all probability be powered by a 1.6 litre VVT engine, which should give it a power rating of close to 140 horses. The engine could be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission along with the option of a 5-speed auto box.
The Swift Sport based on the Next-gen Swift should hit the market sometime around the middle of next year or latest by end 2011. The car sure holds a lot of promise and could be a major addition to the hot hatchback market.
