Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Mopar division has unveiled three Jeep concepts at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA) in Germany. The three distinct concepts – Jeep Cherokee KrawLer, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser and the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk, are aimed at showcasing Mopar’s personalising options for different product offerings.
First up, the Jeep Cherokee KrawLer is based on the Trailhawk model, and has been engineered to tackle harshest off road conditions along with ‘rock crawler’ capabilities as its name suggests. It features special suspension from the Mopar equipment range and comes shod with BFGoodrich KM2 255/80/17 off-road tires.
It sports wider fenders, rock rails and skid plates and features a military-inspired matte-green exterior paint scheme which is further enhanced by the quartz grey interior scheme. The KrawLer show car is powered by a 272 hp 3.2-liter V6 Pentastar engine which is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and comes equipped with ‘Jeep Active Drive Lock’ four-wheel drive system with low range and rear differential lock.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sunriser sports an exclusive matte orange paint scheme and features LED lights mounted between the A-pillar and windscreen. It gets LED daytime running lamps and LED tail lamps. It also features beadlock wheels and an engine skid plate.
Mopar accessories include customised bumpers with double tow hook, half doors and a 4-inch suspension lift kit. It is powered by a 2.8-liter CRD engine which is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Completing the line-up of Mopar’s modified vehicles at the 2015 IAA, is the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. It features 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels, two rear tow hooks, underbody skid plates and exclusive black mirror caps. The interior gets Jeep design mats and sporty pedals.
