The next-gen Audi S4 and S4 Avant have been officially announced for MY2016 (Europe). The S4 variant will be come available for pre-order in the UK in Spring 2016, while the deliveries are expected to commence in Summer.
As it is a performance oriented variant of the A4, it packs a newly developed V6 engine with turbocharging and direct injection. The new 3.0-litre TFSI engine is capable of generating 354 PS (349 hp) and 500 Nm of torque which is now available across a wider range of engine speeds ranging from 1,300 rpm to 4,500 rpm.

Speaking of exterior styling, the all-new S4 boasts subtle improvements over the standard variant, including sportier Singleframe grille, beefed up bumpers and accentuated horizontal lines. The rear sports an S-specific bumper with black honeycomb grille along with quad tail pipes and diffuser clips. LED headlamps are standard with the option of upgrading to matrix LED headlamp setup.
The interior features the S sports seats which have been upholstered in a combination of pearl Nappa leather and Alcantara in an Ebony Rotor Grey and Magma Red colour scheme. The cabin features the addition of matt brushed aluminium trim. It features an 8.3-inch MMI touch infotainment system with navigation, Wi-Fi and LTE. It also gets Audi phone box smartphone integration and audiophiles can opt for a Bang & Olufsen Sound System, with 3D sound reproduction.
