The 2016 Aston DB9 GT is set to make its global debut at the exclusive Pebble Beach Automotive Week to be held from August 13. Aston Martin will also showcase the DBX Concept and the Vulcan supercar along with the Lagonda Taraf at the Aston Martin Estate.
The Aston Martin DB9 GT will take centre stage featuring an up rated 6.0-litre V12 engine that produces 540 bhp making it the most powerful DB9 produced till date.
The DB9 GT continues to offer technology and engineering along with styling that is synonymous with the brand. The interiors also carry forward the tradition of luxury with the incorporation of high quality materials along with orange accents and carbon fibre trim.
The DBX Crossover which has been confirmed for production will make its first appearance in North America at the event. The introduction of the crossover showcases the intent of Aston Martin widening its product portfolio into different segments.
Also making its first appearance in the North American market will be the new Lagonda Taraf super saloon that has been designed to pay homage to the original 1976 Lagonda. The super saloon incorporates extensive use of carbon fibre in the body panels and also features modern technology seen in the brand’s sports cars.
The much talked about 800+bhp Aston Martin Vulcan will be showcased for the second time in North America; it had made its debut at the New York Auto Show in April. The Vulcan features a 7.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine making power in excess of 800 bhp in a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive format.
