The company is expects around 1,000 people to attend the event and but registrations of the free event are limited. A teaser page in the Camaro section on Chevrolet.com is now live where visitors can register for this event and also listen the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro’s exhaust grunt.

Getting on to the specifications, the all-new model of the muscle car is likely to be offered with naturally aspirated and supercharged V6/V8 engines, and possibly, a new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine as well – all engines being gasoline powered of course. Initially, the transmission choices should include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

A 7-speed manual transmission and/or an 8-speed automatic transmission can be expected to follow later. The Perform Data Recorder which is offered currently on the Cadillac ATS-V and the Cadillac CTS-V, would also be available on the all 2016 Camaro for recording and analyzing the vehicle’s performance data.
