General Motors today released a frontal image of the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado for the USA. The image was shared with the news that pickup sales for Chevy were up by 32 percent this year, and the update was to maintain sales momentum.
Sandor Piszar, marketing director for Chevrolet Trucks said “The redesigned 2016 Silverado will build on Chevy Trucks’ legacy of dependability. It will feature a more muscular appearance and offer new customer-focused technologies”.
From what we can infer, the truck’s front features new horizontal elements, sculpted hood and revised headlamp design.
Also confirmed on the 2016 Silverado are 8-speed automatic transmissions, the latest Chevy MyLink supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and “additional safety technologies.”
The vehicle will be launched in the USA this fall, around when Chevrolet will release more product information.
