General Motors has revealed the 2016 Chevrolet Volt ahead of its official debut in Detroit next week. The company did not fully unveil the new vehicle but just gave a glimpse of its exterior from some distance away, the front and side exterior of the vehicle.
The second-generation Volt does not look chunky like its predecessor. Unlike the outgoing model which had a bulged-out body, the new model has a sleek and sharp body. However, a weird observation of the front three quarters from the left side might remind one of the Honda Civic.
The front-end of the new model features a sleek chrome grille and lot of chrome above the Air Dam. The new model features LED daytime running lights as well. On the sides, the window-frame features chrome garnish and there are Y Design alloy wheels. The company did not reveal any technical details while giving a sneak-peek of the new model. More details will be available once the new model is officially announced at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week.
