Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus together with GranStudio and Paol unveiled the track-only SCG 003C (Competizione) at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. The road-legal SCG 003S (Stradale) was also announced but not unveiled at the Expo.
Now, a snippet printed in the latest edition of Autocar UK magazine says that the road-going SCG003S will be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show that opens in early March.
The SCG 003C is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine sourced from Honda Performance Development and developed by Autotecnica Motori. The engine makes 389.5 kW (522 hp) and 700 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Hewland sequential manual transmission with paddle shifters. The track-only version weighs 1,350 kg (with fluids, spare wheel and accessories).
As per a report from Jalopnik, the SCG 003S will have two engine options – a twin-turbocharged V6, a different unit from the one mentioned above, producing about 700 hp, and a naturally aspirated V10 will also be offered. The road-legal version will weigh under 2,654 lbs (1,204 kg).
More information about the SCG003S should become available closer to its launch early next year, probably in February.
