Kia Motors has for the first time teased the all-new 2016 Kia Cadenza and have also announced that the model will be launching next year.
The sketch shows how the sedan will look like and initial impressions are of a sporty and elegant exterior. Kia says that the all-new model is a “bold reinterpretation of the current model’s popular design.” The standout features of the body are the long bonnet; sharp lines and a lower, wider boot. The front fascia features the distinctive ‘tiger-nose’ grille as well as the ‘ice-cube’ fog lamps.
The headlamps are elongated units with LED DRLs while the sides carry big wheels and flared wheel arches along with a swooping roofline and a chrome strip on the lower portion of the doors. The rear is seen with wraparound tail lights, dual exhausts and a subtle boot lid spoiler.
The interior is said to be all-new and has a fresh and luxurious appearance with a layout that enhances the sense of space. Kia says that the interior will bear a European tinge to it and will have “higher quality materials than ever before.”
There was no information revealed on the engine of the 2016 Kia Cadenza but it is expected to use a 3.3-liter V6 that will likely have output figures of 293 hp (218 kW) and 345 Nm (255 lb.-ft.) of torque.
