The 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang has been revealed inside-out through a series of photos and videos by Mustang enthusiasts, long before its official unveiling at the Texas World Speedway. Pictures from Mustang6g and videos from YouTube user San Antonio Shelby Club fully reveal the exterior and interior of the car. The GT350 was spotted in Avalanche Gray exterior colour, and unlike the pre-production model, the alleged production model did not feature racing stripes on the body. Another difference is that the alleged production model also features black-colored fender air vents, and also a “GT 350” badge between the fender air vents and the door panels. The sideview mirrors have black wrapping on them.
The interior boasts a full black theme. There’s a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with chrome edges surrounding the spokes and a Shelby logo in the between. Chrome is used almost everywhere on the centre console and the door panels to match with the all-black interior. The infotainment system fitted in the center console boasts a 8-inch display. The GT350’s announcement in November 2014 said that the infotainment system would be Ford MyTouch, but the third-generation – SYNC 3.0 infotainment system was unveiled in December 2014. So, unlike the official announcement, the car is likely to feature the SYNC 3.0 infotainment system.
According to Terry’s Ford (a Ford dealer in Illinois, USA), the 2016 Shelby GT350 should be available by the end of this year, and as per a previous leak, the availability of this special edition model will be limited to 5,000 units.
