A Citroen 2CV made from tin cans

Citroen 2CV tin can toy

Dubbed as France’s answer to Germany’s people car – the Beetle, the Citroen 2CV was one of the most iconic car to come out of Citroen’s stable.

Built to move French peasants from ox carts to automobiles, this car is always remembered ‘Cheap, Classic Motoring’. It was safe (sort of), comfortable, simple to drive and very economical. It was so good that it remained in production in one form or the other for more than 40 years!

Being French, it is one of the favored cars among artists. In fact, some one has created a miniaturized 2CV entirely out of tin cans. It is made in Madagascar by artisans working for Bezalila – a co-operative movement in disadvantaged areas. To be very clear – this is not a toy but a work of art that will be well appreciated by the 2CV fans across the world. Even we think it’s very cool – So all the 2CV fans, place your order now! It costs just 12 pounds!
