Abarth, the company that is known for making the sports version of cars like the Fiat 500 & Grande Punto have confirmed that they would finally be building their own sports car.
Antonino Labate , Head of Sales and Marketing at Abarth told Autocar UK that this model would be launched within 2 years. He dismissed all rumors regarding the involvement of Lotus in this development.
Autocar states that this car from Abarth should weigh less than 1000 kg & would have a power output of about 240 HP.
