Just days back it was reported that FCA will launch two crossovers under the Alfa Romeo brand. Here’s a speculative rendering of a compact Alfa Romeo crossover from Auto-Moto, that looks very much production-ready.
The crossover, as depicted in the rendering, should bear the brand’s latest design language seen on the Giulia sport sedan, unveiled just days back in Milan.
The crossover seems to be a rugged top-hat of the sport sedan. Like how the Giulia rivals the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series, its tall-riding counterpart appears to be a slayer to their crossover equivalents – the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 respectively. Credit to the artist, the new design language suits the crossover better than the sedan!
Although it is little too early to predict anything more about the first crossover from the Giorgio platform, it is expected to go on sale only in late 2016 or in 2017 and share its engine line-up with the Giulia.
