The Alfa Romeo Giulia’s exterior has leaked just hours ahead of its official debut. The leaked images, published on Alfa Tipo 949 page on Facebook, don’t fully reveal the new luxury sports sedan’s exterior, but do give a clear look at its rear-end and side profile. The sedan’s sporty character strongly distinguishes it from its German rivals BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and the Mercedes C-Class.
The images are most likely of the range-topping Giulia with the alleged 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine developed by Ferrari, and thus the large alloy wheels finished in black, red brake calipers, rear diffuser and dual twin-exhaust tailpipes. According to a report from last month, this engine will produce 500 hp. A 300-hp 1.8-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder petrol engine will also be offered. Drivetrain choices will include rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. More details will be available following the official unveiling event which is to be held in Milan, Italy tomorrow.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia will go on sale in scheduled to go on sale Europe later this year, and in the U.S. in Q1 2016. Like the other current Alfa Romeos, this one will also be a Made-in-Italy car.
