The iconic Alfa Romeo Giulia is returning to the automobile market later this year after over three decades. The Italian sports saloon’s spyshot featured here was first posted by member 2600 of Alfa Corse forum.
As seen with the spyshots before, this test mule also appears to be wearing a Maserati Ghibli body. However, this spy shot is probably the first one which reveals that the production Guilia’ front fascia which is typical of an Alfa Romeo. One can note the triangular radiator grille, the wing-shaped air dam, and the typical curvy-triangular air inlets.
An earlier report suggested that the car will be offered with a 300-hp 1.8-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder petrol engine and a 3.0-litre (twin-turbo) V6 petrol engine that will produce close to 500 hp. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive derivatives will be available.
The new D-segment contender will debut in Milan on the 24th of this month – celebrating the Italian carmaker’s 105th birthday. Like the other Alfa Romeos, this one will also be Made-in-Italy. It will be sold in the U.S. also, from the first quarter of next year.
