Audi has released the prices of its fifth generation (B9) 2016 A4 in Germany. Dealerships will be accepting orders of both saloon and Avant versions from August 13 with deliveries set to commence in the fall.
The 2016 A4 saloon is priced in Germany from €30,650 while the 2016 A4 Avant is priced from €32,500. The new generation features technologies like Matrix LED headlamps, Audi virtual cockpit, 3D Bang & Olufsen sound system and driver assistance systems like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and traffic jam assist.
The A4 range features a new 2.0 litre TFSI Ultra engine that produces 190 hp (140 kW) featuring an innovative combustion process. The engine’s fuel economy figures are rated at 20.83 km/l and 109 g/km respectively on the saloon version, and at 20.00 km/l and 114 g/km respectively on the estate version.
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Member of the Board of Management for Technical Development AUDI, spoke about the new 2.0 TFSI Ultra engine stating that rightsizing is about striking the perfect balance between the displacement, output, torque and efficiency behaviour of the vehicle in everyday conditions. He went on to add that the engine produces adequate power while keeping economy high and emissions low.
