The 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine was the smallest and the least powerful petrol engine offered on the Audi A7, but not anymore. The 2015 Audi A7 is now available with a 1.8-litre TFSI turbocharged petrol engine in Netherlands, at a price of €54,880. While reports were emerging on this since last week, an official announcement was made today only.
The 1.8 TFSI unit produces 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque, and comes matched to the familiar 7-speed S tronic transmission. The new base model does not get the quattro all-wheel drive system. CO2 emissions figure is rated at 135 g/km, a new low for the petrol engine models. The smaller engine gives the A7 a fuel economy of 17.24 km/l.
Standard features include LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, auto AC with two separate climate zones, leather wrapping on multifunction steering wheel, MMI infotainment system and Pre Sense basic safety package.
For additional features, a Pro Line version can be opted for €5,900 more. The Pro Line version gets upgrade to MMI navigation plus, auto AC with four climate zones, Audi parking system plus, SCM class 3 approved theft alarm, Audi connect, ambience lighting and many more extra features.
For those who want even m0re, the Pro Line Plus and Pro Line S versions are also available, but Audi hasn’t revealed prices for them just yet.
