The high security full-size luxury saloon has a payload capacity of 600 kg (1,322 lbs) and is the only contender in its class with an all-wheel drive setup offered directly by the manufacturer. It will be offered with a choice of two engines – a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 TFSI that produces 435 hp (320 kW) of power and 600 Nm of torque and a naturally aspirated W12 FSI engine that produces 500 hp (368 kW) of power and 625 Nm of torque. The top speed has been limited to 210 km/h (130 mph) taking into consideration the stress on the run-flat tyres.

Audi has already commenced taking orders for the 2016 A8 L Security and the deliveries are expected to begin in Spring 2016.
