Audi TT wins German Design Award

Audi’s has won the German Design Award for its latest-gen Audi TT, which went on sale just recently after being shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2014.

The German Design Award, sponsored by the German Design Council, is considered as one of the most prestigious in the industry. The TT was picked in the “Transportation and Public Design” category.

Audi TT wins German Design Award

First place for a design icon: The new Audi TT* has driven to victory in the “Transportation and Public Design” category of the “German Design Awards.”

In the same category, the premium brand received a “Special Mention” for the Audi S3 Cabriolet*, Audi A8* and the Audi TT quattro sport concept car. The German Design Award is sponsored by the German Design Council – the award is considered one of the most prestigious in the industry. The jury was made up of design experts from a number of disciplines. The awards will be presented in February 2015 in Frankfurt.
