Honda has launched Honda CR-V Series II 4WD Limited Edition in Australia. It is based on the CR-V Series II 4WD VTi and has a national drive-away price of AU$35,690.
The limited edition costs only AU$1,700 more than the grade it’s based on and can be distinguished by 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, side steps and a red Limited Edition badge on the outside.
This grade is available in limited numbers but the exact number has not been revealed. It comes loaded with features such as front and rear parking sensors, dusk-sensing automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers. On the safety front, Honda’s LaneWatch blind spot monitoring system has been equipped. This system shows the driver the view of traffic in the blind spot of the passenger side via a camera installed in the passenger door mirror. The feed from this camera is displayed in real-time on the 7.0-inch Display Audio touch screen infotainment system.
Being based on the regular VTi 4WD, power is sourced from the same 2.4-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 140kW (188 hp) and 222Nm of peak torque. This is the most powerful engine in the CR-V Series II range and is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
