The new Honda HR-V is about to launch in Australia this week. Ahead of the vehicle’s launch, the pricing and specifications for the vehicle have been officially revealed. The new compact crossover will be available in four variants – VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and VTi + ADAS.
A 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol engine is standard across the range. Engine outputs are also same across the range with 105 kW (141 hp) maximum power and 172 Nm maximum torque. Fuel consumption per 100 km in combined cycle of the VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L and VTi + ADAS variants is 6.6 litres, 6.9 litres, 6.9 litres and 6.9 litres respectively. In the same sequence, the CO2 emissions figure goes as 155 g/km, 160 g/km, 160 g/km and 160 g/km respectively.
Standard features on the VTi variant are, electrically adjustable body-coloured door mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators, halogen daytime running lights, LED rear lights, tailgate spoiler, climate control, touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth, USB & smartphone-integrated navigation app, electric parking brake, cruise control and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The VTi-S variant adds LED headlights with auto levelling and dusk sensors, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, rain sensing wipers, push-button start, low-speed autonomous brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather wheel and gearshifter and blind-spot monitoring.
The VTi-L variant adds gear shift paddles, front & rear parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, electrically retractable door mirrors, dual-zone climate control, leather seats (front-heated), rear arm rest and alloy pedals.
The VTi-L + ADAS variant is distinguished with an additional safety system offered on the top of VTi-L variant. This variant features Honda’s ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) safety package with active high-beam, lane departure warning and forward collision warning.
