Yesterday, a report emerged saying that the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept that was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March this year and later exhibited at 2015 Auto Shanghai last month, is currently studied for feedback from customers and dealers around the world to reach a decision on whether to make it.
Now a report from Automotive News Europe suggests that the concept could get production approval only next year.
Bentley CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer said that the concept is being seriously considered for production, as per the report. The car’s final evaluation is due in the fourth quarter and approval is expected next year, he adds. Its pricing would be similar to that of the Continental range.
The company is also working on the Grand Convertible concept that was displayed at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in November last year. The concept was basically a convertible version of the Mulsanne. The CEO didn’t reveal the timeline for its launch but did say that the chances of this concept going into production are “fairly optimistic”.
