After destroying his 2005 BMW 645CI Convertible in an accident, this man had one clever idea. Instead of selling off the car as a scrap, he decided to put it to a better use. He hired artist Bruce Gray to use the parts of the car & certain bulldozer parts to make a Robot!
Christened as the ‘Robot Sculpture 1’ this piece of machinery has dimensions of 68 x 34 x 22 & most of the parts used are of cast aluminum with existing brackets & mounting holes.
The robot features a movable head, movable upper arm & fore arm too. Hands can also be moved in different directions, & it also has a simulated energy pulse gun with movable fire button controller. Heavy steel plates from train tracks were used to make the robot’s feet. It weighs at 240 pounds. Cool eh?
