Borgward is making a comeback in the car market with a crossover which will be called BX7. The Borgward BX7’s official image gallery has surfaced online ahead of its world premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA).
Up front, the Borgward BX7 sports a V-shaped hood, large radiator grille with vertical slats and the brand’s rhombus logo in the middle, rectangular headlamps incorporating LED lighting, a small lower grille, big fog lamps and full-length skid plates.
On the sides, the BX7 apparently features bolstered fenders, 5-spoke wheels shod with Continental ContiSportContact tyres, roof rails with aluminum-finish, chrome surrounds on the windows and rear quarter glass, integrated LED turn indicators on the door mirrors and a curvacious character line.
The rear-end is as aggressive as the front. The sporty tail lamps extend from the tailgate into the quarter panels, while the athletic bumper matches in colour with the aluminum-finish rear skid plates. The bumper is designed in a typically German style as seen on Audi, BMW and Mercedes vehicles. The rear-end concludes with dual exhausts finished in chrome.
Reports say that the Borgward BX7 will be initially targeted at Germany and emerging markets including China and the Middle East.
