At first glance, the picture above suggests a Rolls Royce Phantom with severe quality issues. But only a closer look would reveal the insanity caught on camera, a ‘do-it yourself’ Rolls Royce Phantom.
This Rolls Royce Phantom wannabe is the brainchild of a Kazakhstani mechanic, Ruslan Mukanov. Mukanov built this ‘Roller-lookalike’ out of a defunct 1975 Mercedes Benz 300D with only US $3000 worth of plaster and fiberglass.
The car has working suicide doors, Rolls Royce Logos and a 3.0 liter diesel engine which has been tuned beyond its limits to produce the sporty roar. What the duplicate Rolls Royce really misses is the prized ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ on the hood.
