After Audi Hydron and Lamborghini Conquisto, David Cardoso has brought forward another concept. Called as the Chevrolet Cobalt Concept, it is really a summation of a lot of design philosophies.

At the essence, it is a coupe cum muscle car but in totality, it just doesn’t jel very well with the over all design.

It also has a little bit of Mustang if you look closely. This is a living example that sometimes 2 + 2 = 3

What do you think about it?

We’re sure that the first time you saw Transformers’ you were left awestruck. Cars turning into robots, doing all sorts of weird things and changing its positions, shape & size is not something our eyes are accustomed to. A similar reaction when you saw the Batmobile! A motorbike cum supercar that goes like a bullet.

If all that amazed you, what you are going to see now will leave you even more amazed. This piece of machinery is called the ‘Halo Intersceptor’ This is a cross between a car, a boat, a plane and a helicopter!

The body of the Halo Intersceptor looks smashing and all the curves and bulges make it look attractive. The paint job also looks very neat.

The video showcases with how much ease and how beautifully the car turns into a plane, then a helicopter and then a boat, comfortably changing its body shapes.

We have to admit that this thing is way more cooler than Transformers, 007’s Aston and a Bat Mobile! We can’t wait too see one in one of the Hollywood flicks and real life too!

Now every car has its pros and cons. No car is flawless. What would be your ideal daily commuting car? A car that looks like an Alfa Romeo, a car that drives like a BMW, a car with the comfort levels of a Mercedes Benz , a car with the gadgets from an Audi, and a car with the safety features from a Volvo. And if you look at the upper end of the lot, the ‘supercars’, what would one want? The blend of 3 of some of the most outrageous supercars- Pagani Zonda R, Mclaren F1 & a Ferrari Enzo!

Welcome this Pagani Zonda Concept, a design by Gary Gu. This concept has engine intakes from a an Enzo & the shape of the Mclaren. The roof is also modified. The body is full carbon fibre, the engine is carried over from the Zonda R- an AMG V12 that churns out a staggering 750 BHP. This vehicle is a blend of power, looks, speed & performance! A car that should definitely see the daylight!

We've shown you a life size functional car built using LEGO bricks and prior to that, brought you a Porsche 911 made out of wood. Is there a way to combine the two? I guess there is!

Here's a toy Porsche 911 that's made out of LEGO blocks. It looks very close to the real thing, it's chocolate brown color is a nice touch. The point of this car is not merely to occupy space in your showcase but for you to dismantle it and observe the working suspension of the car.

So there are people who derive pleasure out of seeing a toy car's suspension in action. Hmm..

The Ultimate super-car for the year 2020, Incepto, is finally here. A concept car, designed by Samir Sadikhov, proves an amazing dexterity of a Student cum designer with a vision to build a futuristic two-seated, sporty and a luxurious sports car.

He has also been able to successfully combine a enhanced aerodynamic approach by covering the rear wheels by glass and an unusual central-vertical exhaust, which is perfectly radically designed, converting his self-branded limited dream-car into a successful final product.

Though Incepto has a radical design which is different from many other designs and concept cars there is a portion of impracticality which can be refined for its better secured future.

ÖkoGlobe’s first prize for ‘ground-breaking innovations in concept and small vehicles’ (yes, that’s how big the category was) went to Xenova’s Terryman, a lightweight, fully electric powered van that can, so to say, ‘save the environment.’

With ‘Eco-friendly’ being the buzz word of the 21st century, we see a lot of these eco cars at motor shows regularly. So what makes this van different?

Xenova Terryman has been designed so that the new drive technology is optimally implemented. This results in a free space charge distribution in the interior and high efficiency in the use of the electric-utility vehicle.

It even has its own photovoltaic roof that generates approx 10% of its daily usage. It has a length of 2800mm, a width of 1700mm and a height of 1600mm making it a perfect size for city commutes.

Michael Viktor Kamp, managing director of Xenova, even plans to start a fleet test by this year end so the concept can be eventually put to production.

Every now & then we bring you some amusing, good looking, sometimes wacky concepts that designers pen down just to exhibit their creativity. The newest of that kind is a Citroen DS that has been designed by a chap named Victor Uribe.

Now what is interesting about this design is that Victor says it has been inspired by a camel! The car is definitely massive just like a camel. This 2 door SUV has a futuristic set of headlamps, massive air intakes around the fog lamps, a sloping roofline that gives it a coupe like silhouette, massive wheel arches, A pillars that resemble a camels ‘humped’ back and taillights which in my opinion look like a camels face! The car has bulges & creases all over & the brown paint finish completes the ‘camel’ look.

Now here is another interesting part about this car. We know that a camel is a strong animal that carries loads of weight on its back and survives in extreme conditions. This car has a rather clever mechanism wherein the all weather roof can be opened like a sheet, cargo put in & then can be closed! This allows you to carry large quantities of cargo without spoiling the dynamic abilities of the car!

A rather innovative design to say the least!

If you loved Uribe's camel derived SUV, then check out his Lamborghini Tauro concept and his Mercedes SLK design study.

No, this is not the plug-in hybrid 918 Spyder that is currently being tested at the Nurburgring or leaks from Porsche's design center.

Designed by a Marcus Classen, a transportation graduate from Northumbria Universty, this is a fully electric, 2-seater, roadster concept car.

The designer has taken cues from past Porsche Cars and has merged them in this concept (Yea, he forgot the windshield bit). Being fully electric, the designer has tried to keep the weight as low as possible (probably that is why the windshield is not there!).

Because the car is fully electric, it needs to pack is much less components than the traditional combustion engine, leaving a lot of room for adjustments on the design. The designer has envisaged two motors driving the rear wheels, and a centrally mounted battery pack to keep the car balanced and has added a roll-bar just in case.

These college designs make it big in the internet world but hardly catch the attention of the Auto giants. We hope that the same is not the fate of this design.

If you're a Porsche lover, then you must check out the greenest Porsche 911 in the world!

We're thankful to Woody Thompson for showing us a sketch of what looks like a clay mock-up of a Range Rover from the recent past. This clay model should have been made during the time when Land Rover was owned by Ford Motor Company.

If you compare the image of the clay model to how modern Range Rover turned out to look, you'll see the front fascia has come out the way most of us like. The clay model suggest Ford was trying to adjust the authentic Range Rover front end with bits and pieces from Ford pickups and SUVs.

There is no official word on whether this clay model was created by Ford or Range Rover during the development of the SUV, but for those who aren't fans of the Range Rover grille, it could have been a lot worse!

With a zero-emission powerplant, this Airport luggage carrying trolley is designed by Anupam Singh Parihar who hails from India. Anupam's "Togian" is a compact load hauler which can move up to 3 tons of weight.

The vehicle's focus is transporting maximum possible load and hence there's not much room for the operator. With a tiny cockpit built for a single person and his assistant, we'd say this sleek equipment is cleverly designed. The windshield is large which allows for high visibility, a critical factory in an environment such as an airport.

There's aggression too - headlamps, tail lamps, flashing lamps are all designed to gel well with the overall design. The vehicle makes use of lead acid batteries, the range or the top speed is not specified.

The futuristic load carrier will look out of place in today's airports. Perhaps ten years down the line, the Togian could carry your and my luggage while we're in transit.

With a zero-emission powerplant, this Airport luggage carrying trolley is designed by Anupam Singh Parihar who hails from India. Anupam’s “Togian” is a compact load hauler which can move up to 3 tons of weight.

The vehicle’s focus is transporting maximum possible load and hence there’s not much room for the operator. With a tiny cockpit built for a single person and his assistant, we’d say this sleek equipment is cleverly designed. The windshield is large which allows for high visibility, a critical factory in an environment such as an airport.
