The 2012 Fiat Panda was snapped while being assembled at the factory in Pomigliano d’Arco. The Panda supermini will be marginally longer than the current Panda but will stay well clear of the four meter mark. The design inspiration is very evident – it’s from the Novo Uno that was introduced in South America last year.

We’ve discussed about the low-cost MPV Dacia’ building on the Logan platform for 2012. Shown here is a sketch of the vehicle codenamed J92 measuring 4.5 meters long and come with the Renault-Nissan group’ 1.5-liter, 85bhp diesel engine.
For self-drive some markets, offerings will include creature comforts and automatic transmission.

The next generation Audi Q7 is expected before the end of 2013, and going by the replica-trend in Audi models, we expect the future Q7 to be twice as big as the Q3. Audi trademarks like LED indicator lamps, sharp headlamps and a hexagonal grille will feature on the new Q7.
If the illustration is accurate, then we can expect to see abundance of fat on the replacement model.

The Nissan Sentra is a low cost sedan sold in many developed countries including North America. People love it for its affordability, fuel economy, space and comfort.

Romanian auto manufacturer Dacia is working on a monovolume concept for production in 2012.
The 7 seat MPV dubbed Popster by many international media outlets will be a low-cost project mimicking Toyota’s Innova and Mahindra’s Xylo. These are some fine examples of region-specific low cost vans.

There is a possibility of the MFA platform to give rise to a compact sedan along the lines of the Ford Fiesta. There is a good chance of this model being marked for developing nations with compact and highly efficient petrol and diesel engines.

Fiat is hard at work developing a new Panda for the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new Panda will be the third generation model and clearly an important one as the first two were highly successful in European countries.
Fiat has decided to widen the Panda and make it longer as well. The new Panda may reach 370 cm as opposed to the current 350 cm and will share the platform with the Lancia Ypsilon.

The Wagon R, a sort of a love child between a box and a car, has strangely been a favorite car of the Japanese customers. Partly, because it has a Suzuki badge and partly because it has tones of space in it. Also, if you are 6 foot odd, it is very difficult to get into other hatches in the same segment.
