Subaru is working hard in association with Toyota on its sports car-the FT-86. The FT-86 will carry a typically Japanese design language, with futuristic elements thrown in here and there.
Spy shots reveal that an STI version is also in the works. Spy pictures also reveal the weird shape of the car from the rear, although it might just be a camouflage and not the real deal. Subaru’s are not known [...]

Golf seems to be the favorite among young designer to show they skills. We get to see a new rendering almost every other day. So what’s so special in this one? Unlike the previous design, this new rendering is much sharper and sporty with 17 inch alloys.
The whole design seems to be inspired by the new Passat. The best bit is the LED lightening in the headlamps and Dual Exhaust.
Two groundbreaking [...]

We have already brought you a spy shot of the 2012 Azera’s front end, revealing a very aggressive yet elegant design, thanks to the Fluidic Sculpture design touches. We are kept in the dark about the new Azera’s dimensions, but like the current model, the 2012 Azera must be marginally wider and longer than the Sonata.

The bosses of Fiat have decided to drop the development of the new Topolino and to only focus on Fiat Seicento which will be a low cost car positioned beneath the upcoming Panda and Fiat 500.

The soon to debut Lotus Elite just got hotter in the internet world. An artist has rendered a Lotus Elite track edition which I am sure even Lotus is thinking of.
The rendering shows of an extensive body kit presumably to reduce drag and increase downforce on the car. The subtle street-cruiser image of the car has been given in for a much hardcore race image with a front splitter and some carbon fibre [...]

The JV between Daimler and Renault is finally kicking into action with news coming from France that the third generation Twingo will be based on the Smart ForFour. This platform (currently under development) promises to be a ‘breath of fresh air’ for both the companies.
What is even more radical is that the Twingo will lose its front wheeled drive for a rear wheel drive. This is the exact opposite [...]

Nissan’s Micra has seen a slew of body styles including a convertible and sedan. In the European market, the Micra (known in some places as the Nissan March) is considered a city car which doesn’t see a lot of activity in the back seat.
Nissan’s 3-door Micra is a great idea then. Launched as a 5-door model with 1.2 and 1.5 liter engines, the new Micra’s platform will see the [...]

The Hot hatch just got hotter! And better! The French auto magazine Autoplus is reporting renderings of the 2011 Renault Megane III. The Renault Megane was easily one of the best looking hot hatch in its segment due to its French connection. And from the pic, it is very clear that the new Megane’s design language is very impressive and is heavily inspired by the DeZir concept.
