A survey by personal finance website Bundle has revealed that Americans spend more money on cars and car related expenses than they do on normal household expenses such as groceries, clothes, entertainment and travel. The survey reveals that an average American household spends $ 2,208 on fuel bills alone and $ 3,269 on other expenditures related to the car.

A survey conducted by car insurer RACV in Australia has revealed that the Hyundai Getz is the cheapest car in terms of the cost of ownership aspect. This result now means that the Getz can now celebrate its fourth year atop the standings of the survey. In a ‘Driver Distraction Study’ conducted by a firm, Abrams, Herzog & Filippi, over 4634 cars driven by males under the age of 30 were observed at important intersections at the New York city and in Broward County in Florida.

A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center’s Internet and American life Project has revealed that fact that both teenagers and adults, are offenders of the same degree for texting while driving.
