Chevrolet has previewed its Red Line Concepts ahead of their unveiling at 2015 SEMA Show next month. These concepts integrate Chevrolet’s new range of Red Line Series accessories. The cars on display will be the Trax, Malibu, Camaro, Colorado and Silverado 1500 models as well as a performance-oriented Spark RS concept.
These concepts are fitted with production and concept accessories, with the ones meant for production being available with the arrival of the 2016 models in the showrooms. Chevrolet says that these accessories equally blend style and functionality with all concepts thematically linked to the Red Line Series banner. They all share the enhanced Silver Metallic exterior colour, custom Charcoal roof panel and Satin Graphite and red accents.
Most of the concepts features similar modifications that range from tinted tail lamps, black bowtie kit, fog lamp bezels and floor mats to bigger changes such as air intake/exhaust kits, wheels, brake kits and suspension lowering kits.
The eye candy of the show will be the Camaro Red Line Series concept. On the outside, the muscle car receives 20-inch Satin Graphite wheels with red accents, hash mark and decklid panel graphics, black bowtie and fender badge kit, darkened tail lamps, Satin Graphite mirror caps and window moldings, grille inserts and red fog lamp bezels. Mechanical changes are a suspension lowering kit, air intake kit and uprated brake package. The interior features sill plates and premium carpeted floor mat and cargo mat.
Another interesting exhibit will be the Spark RS concept. This is basically the 2016 Chevrolet Spark with RS treatment. This package gives the Spark a carbon-fiber front splitter and lower extension, rocker extensions, lowered suspension and 17-inch Corvette-inspired wheels. The sporty nature of the hatch is accentuated by the Dark Liquid Switchblade Silver exterior colour coupled to a black stripe running front to back. Chevrolet will be gauging public response of this concept at the show and then decide whether to put it into production or not.
The 2015 SEMA Show will run from November 3 to November 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Further details on all the concepts can be found in the press release below.
