The Skoda Rapid Concept created by Dalibor Pantucek of the Royal College of Art is a vision into the future of car design. Though the car does not look like any of the cars that bear the Skoda badge, the car has been designed keeping in mind the core values of the Skoda brand such as flexibility, variability and smart decisions.
The car possesses a super and sleek chassis, whose length can be varied depending upon the conditions in which the vehicle is used. The car’s body has been designed with the prime objective of protecting its occupants, while at the same time improving the aerodynamics of the vehicle. The car also has specially designed wheels which serve as the vehicle’s pendants.
The car’s interiors have been done up in multiple layers in order to resemble the shape memory effect. This allows the occupants of the car to customize the car’s interior depending upon the number of occupants and the requirements of the occupants.
The Skoda Rapid Concept by Dalibor Pantuchek though promising and futuristic, may never see the light of day due to its not being in line with Skoda’s design philosophies.
