The 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA) that will be held next month in Germany will host debut of the new DS 4 Crossback and facelifted DS 4, seen in these images published by autoforum.cz.
In terms of design, the facelifted has migrated to the PSA’s newly formed premium brand. Up front, the facelifted hatchback sports LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, a smaller and more premium upper grille typically seen on the latest DS models with the sleek ‘DS’ logo, and a new bumper and a simpler lower grille that features a full-width chrome strip touching the new chrome fog lamp housing.
On the sides, the facelifted hatchback is hoisted on sportier DS-branded wheels. Inside, the centre console has been added with more premium features and there’s also a more stylish gearshift lever now.
The DS 4 Crossback is essentially a jacked-up, crossover-styled version of the standard DS 4. According to the Czech publication, it will ride 30 mm higher. It’s apparently more rugged and sportier than the standard DS 4 and features extensive usage of black-coloured elements all over the body. On the sides, it also gets distinctive wheels finished in black, as well as aluminim-finish roof rails. The visual distinctiveness is carried on the inside as well, with beige theme and extensive usage of leather all over.
Complete details about the DS 4 Crossback and the facelifted DS 4 hatchback should be revealed next week.
