The Ferrari F12 GTO has allegedly leaked ahead of its official debut later this year, by Autogespot. The Dutch publication says that the pictures come from a private customer preview during which Ferrari owners got an exclusive look at the upcoming Ferrari model.
The Ferrari F12 GTO, as per a report from GT Spirit, will be powered by the same naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine as the standard F12Berlinetta, but its power output will be increased from 740 hp to 800 hp.
Moreover, the HY-KERS hybrid system and several other technologies from the LaFerrari could also be employed in the GTO. Apart from being exceptionally fast, it will also be easier to maneuver, thanks to a weight reduction of over 100 kg that will bring the dry weight figure to around 1,425 kg.
While GT Spirit claimed that the F12 GTO will debut at the IAA 2015 in Frankfurt in September (Frankfurt Motor Show 2015), Autogespot says that it may be unveiled at the 65th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance which is to be held on 16 August.
