Rendering: 2011 Ford Focus variants

The chaps at The Motor Report have put together a series of drawing of what’s waiting in the Ford Focus Platform. After the launch of the third generation Focus in hatch and sedan forms, a 3-door hatch will join the line-up.

For overseas markets (from Australian perspective) a station wagon version of the Focus is expected in a couple of years’ time. Featuring Kinetic styling, the Ford Focus Wagon will be younger sibling to the Modeo wagon, which goes under the surgeon’s knife next year.

The Focus three-door and wagon models would likely draw power from the same direct-injected 1.6 litre petrol and Duratorq diesel engines. For slightly more adventurous customers, Ford will offer the brand new direct-injected 2.0 litre petrol engine with Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT).
