How does a petrolhead cope up with grief?

crazy driverWe petrolheads are a very unique species. We give more importance to our cars than to our family or friends.

So how do you expect us to react to a death of something we value and admire? Oddly enough, we have the answer.

The northern island of Hokkaido became the talk of the town when a Japanese resident, Tsutomu Mizumoto, age 31, drove on the wrong lane of the expressway for 90 kms because his cat died. On the way, he also broke through five emergency police blockades and passed through a tollgate. The police pursued him for over 2 hours until they finally detained him.

On arrest, Tsutomu said -

I was sad that my pet cat died. I wanted to do something crazy.

The police responded to an emergency call about 5:45 a.m on a car driving in the wrong way on the motor way.

Mr Tsutomu Mizumoto, you’ll still be able to do something crazy – make new friends and party with them. In jail!
