Tjin Edition, after modifying one of the Ford Edges for 2015 SEMA Show, has done a project for Hyundai. The aftermarket builder has modified a Hyundai Genesis Coupe that will be revealed at Hyundai’s SEMA press conference on November 3.
This the first official Hyundai vehicle built by Neil Tjin, president, Tjin Edition RoadShow for SEMA Show. The custom coupe takes inspiration from underground racing with the exterior finished in bright Kylie Tjin Axalta Green paint. The headlights have been made by LightWurkz with the front lid, metal trunk lid and rear wing built by Unique Fabrication. The wheels are Rotiform 19-inch three-piece HUR units shod with Falken Azenis FK453 tires.
Under the hood, there’s a 3.8-liter Lambda V6 engine that churns out more than 500 hp. This bump in output has been made possible by installing a Bisimoto Engineering Supercharger Kit comprising of Vortech V3 supercharger and tuning by Bisimoto. More power is extracted by adding Bisimoto exhaust, Vortech front-mount intercooler and blow-off valve.
The body sits on KW Coilover suspension giving the vehicle a lower and sportier stance. Braking duties are carried out by Custom Baer and CBA Extreme Plus calipers at the front and rear biting on Baer 14-inch cross-drilled rotors. The cabin has been beefed up with a roll cage provided by Unique Fabrication and the comfort quotient has been addressed by usage of Custom Alea Leather.
