Dubbed as a compact crossover by the carmaker, it is set to join the i20 five-door hatchback and the coupe versions in the European line-up. It features added versatility with a distinctive design for customers with an adventurous lifestyle. It has become a common practice by automakers to title hatchbacks as crossovers by some little modifications such as added ground clearance, some plastic cladding over the exterior and other minor visual changes that show ruggedness. And with the i20 Active, Hyundai too has become one of them.
