Hyundai will soon be replacing their successful & aging Tiburon Coupe with the Veloster. Shown here, the Hyundai Veloster will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October & will hit UK showrooms early next year.
The car will be a direct competitor to the VW Scirocco but would be much cheaper. The car will have an asymmetric body, with two doors on the left-hand side of the car to make entry to the rear of the cabin easier from the kerb. The car will also have a conventional hatchback.
It will be powered by Hyundai’s 1.6 liter ‘theta’ direct-injection petrol engine that punches out a 140 horses. It will have an optional twin clutch gearbox & a 1.6 liter 200 BHP turbo variant is also expected.
