Infiniti has announced its MY2016 line-up of vehicles for the U.S. market. 2016 Infiniti models will get enhancements and updates as a part of the newer model year.
The 2016 QX50 premium crossover will get an additional 3.2 inches in wheelbase, resulting in an increase of rear passenger room and cargo space while the exteriors get a mild nip and tuck.
The Q50 sports sedan range will see addition of a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine in the winter of 2016, while other enhancements to the model will be announced at the 2016 North American International Motor Show in January. Updates to the QX60 crossover will also be announced here.
The 2016 QX80 full-size crossover will get a new ‘Signature Edition’ that includes split bench packages and driver assistance systems. Limited to 1,000 units the special edition will feature a high-contrast Saddle Tan interior along with chrome mirror caps and body side mouldings for the exterior. The QX70 performance crossover will remain unchanged for the 2016 model year.
The Infiniti Q70 flagship sedan will be offered with a ‘Premium Select Edition’ package for the standard wheelbase model sporting unique exterior and interior embellishments, including with 20-inch aluminium alloy wheels and rear decklid spoiler.
2016 Infiniti vehicles will feature ‘Infiniti Personal Assistant’ which is a 24/7 personal concierge service for the owners. The subscription to the service will be provided free of charge for the first year as a part of the company’s ‘Total Ownership Experience’ that promises a pleasing ownership experience for the buyers.
The 2017 Q30 hatchback and the 2017 QX30 crossover are still in the development stage and both are expected to arrive in late spring/early summer 2016. The 2017 Q60 coupe could be introduced in late summer/early fall 2016.
