Infiniti has released two images of the interior of the new Q30 premium compact hatchback ahead of its world premiere at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA) this month. The Q30 is based on the Mercedes A-Class.
Infiniti explains that the premium hatchback features interiors that are an extension of the dynamic exteriors taking on expressive curves and forms for distinct individuality. The company has chosen high quality materials for the interior. A modern ambience is created with the incorporation of Dinamica suede like material sourced from Italy. The material will line the roof and the pillars in the cabin.
The driver and passenger seat features additional comfort and support with an elevated hip-point construction. The incorporation of this design in the seat will aid the feeling of control for the driver, intended to go along with the sharp handling characteristics of the vehicle in the city or on country roads.
Roland Krueger, President of Infiniti stated that the Q30 is a vital part of the company’s strategy to be a top player as a manufacturer of global premium cars. With the new premium compact hatchback, the company is entering a new segment to broaden its customer base. He also went on to add that the Q30’s asymmetric cabin design and sculpted exteriors are unmistakably Infiniti.
