Infiniti has partnered with ‘TEN: The Enthusiast Network’ to offer a high technology experience in its Pavilion Experience to showcase its evolving performance and design.
A new virtual reality experience will be offered to driving enthusiasts at the Infiniti Pavilion, at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours Plaza. The enthusiasts will get to virtually drive the Q60 concept that was unveiled at the 2015 North American International Motor Show in January. The virtual experience will include routes like Italy’s Stelvio Pass and the scenic Atlantic Ocean road in Norway.
Infiniti has also partnered with CXC Simulations and professional drivers to recreate the actual feeling of being in a moving car, recreating sensation of every bump, turn and acceleration input. The custom built simulator incorporates G-forces along with tilt to offer an immersive virtual reality experience.
Infiniti will also organize a second virtual reality experience where the Executive Design Director of the brand, Alfonso Albasia will guide a tour on the design of the QX30 concept “From Pencil to Metal”.
Visitors to the Infiniti pavilion will receive a complementary special edition headset which is inspired by Google Cardboard. This virtual reality headset can be used with the free Infiniti Driver’s Seat virtual reality mobile app to relive the full experiences.
