The rusted metal sculpture you can see above is the aftermath of Nikola Nikolov getting inspired by the movie Transformers. This ‘Transformer’ has been made from the remains of the artist’s defunct Lada Samara Diva car.
The funny thing about this ‘Tranformer’ is, it isn’t really one! Let alone the fact that it can’t be made into a car again, it can’t even move (or rather be moved). This sculpture looks more like an blood-soaked disfigured Green Goblin after being whupped by Spiderman than anything to do with the Tranformers.
The ‘Tranformer’ weighs over 90kgs and is about 200cm tall. Though the artist’s work may not stand up to his inspiration, his effort has been truly great and is appreciated.
What would you like to call it? An “Auto”bot or a “Dis-shapedicon”?
