GM has announced the Chevrolet Captiva Active Life Edition in Japan. The special edition is limited to only 30 units, which should be good enough considering the company’s poor sales in the country. 4 units will be available with new Deep Espresso Brown metallic body paint and the remaining units will be available with Smoky Eye Metallic body paint.
Inside, the Active Life Edition model gets a special Jet Black interior scheme. There’s a Pioneer infotainment system with in-built satellite navigation system, and a reversing camera. The infotainment system features TV tuner, DVD-V, CD, Bluetooth, FM & AM Tuner and SD card support. It is also connected to a 10.2-inch roof-mounted display to entertain the rear passengers.
The limited edition model is available with the 2.4-litre in-line four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 123 kW (165 hp) and 230 Nm of torque. The engine comes matched to a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is priced at ¥3,790,000, ¥100,000 upwards of the base model.
