Jenson Button’s MP4-25 replica costs twice the Tata Nano

Jenson Buttons MP4 25 Replica

Amalgam model cars has created a 1:8 scale replica of the Mclaren MP4-25, which won Jenson Button his first race as a McLaren driver, the 2010 Australian Grand Prix. The exquisitely detailed replica possesses all the details of the original car such as the “option” compound tyres, with a green band on the sidewalls and McLaren’s F-duct system, which stalls the air flow to the rear wing as and when required by the driver.

The replica looks every bit as real as Button’s original MP4-25 and one will be hard pressed to differentiate between the replica and the real race car. The replica weighs 16 kgs and has been priced at £2,950 (US $4,485).
