The upcoming Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster has been leaked online by Las Vegas-based automotive and fashion photographer Jordan Shiraki. The extreme variant of the Aventador Roadster seen here features Blu Glauco colour on the body and the brake calipers.
The standard Roadster, as per reports, comes with a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that churns out 515 kW (690 hp) and 690 Nm of torque. The SV variant’s leaked details reveals that it features an enhanced version of this engine with the power output bumped up to 750 hp, same as the SV variant of the Aventador Coupe. The top speed is marked at 221 mph (356 km/h), which is 4 mph (6 km/h) more than the standard roadster.
Thanks to some weight reduction efforts, the SV variant is 50 kg lighter with a dry weight of 3,472 lbs (1,575 kg), but at the same time, it’s also 50 kg heavier than the Coupe’s SV variant. No further weight addition was possible thanks to its “extremely rigid carbon monocoque chassis” and a removable carbon roof that weighs only 13 lbs (6 kg).
The Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster will be rarer than the Aventador SV Coupe, as its production will be limited to just 500 units, 100 less than that of the its coupe equivalent. Order books for the Superveloce Roadster are now open.
