Lexus has revealed its plans for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The fourth generation of the Lexus RX will make its European debut at the prestigious motor show. Lexus will also showcase the revised Lexus GS and GS 200t in Europe for the first time.
The all-new Lexus RX will make its European debut on 15th September. It has been the Toyota-owned luxury brand’s best selling model in its 26-year history, with total sales of around 2.2 million units worldwide since its introduction in 1999. The company informs that three of every ten Lexus vehicles sold have been the RX.
The new-gen Lexus RX features styling which is an evolution of the design seen on the current model range with pronounced curves and sharp creases. The front gets a revised spindle grille along with angular headlamps and muscular front fenders. The exteriors are distinctive, with a look resembling recently launched Lexus vehicles.
The interiors have been designed to offer unmatched balance of luxury and everyday usability. The cabin has been reworked to be spacious with comfort of the passengers given priority. The new RX features reworked hybrid and petrol powertrains.
The facelifted Lexus GS range, including the new GS 200t model that features a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, will also have European debut at the Show.
