German tuner Manhart Racing has unveiled the heavily upgraded BMW M4 it teased in May this year. As one would guess from its name, the Manhart MH4 550 has a maximum power of 550 hp, and a torque of 820 Nm. The engine is the stock 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six cylinder engine and yet the tuner has managed to churn out this massive power output.
Talking about the chassis and exterior modifications, the brakes and suspension have been upgraded. The suspension is now a 3-way adjustable coilover with Clubsport setup, and 35 mm lowering.
There’s a new bodykit with carbon fibre elements in the front air intakes and a gloss black front splitter. BMW’s signature kidney grille is finished in gloss black to contrast with the matte yellow exterior paint of the car.
There’s a new bonnet and an Akrapovic exhaust system with four tailpipes flanked by a carbon fiber diffuser, that complete the changes.
The tuners have managed to increased the top speed of the coupe to 340 km/h.
