Maserati has announced that it will showcase the gorgeous Maserati Alfieri concept at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show scheduled to take place from November 10 to 14.
The Maserati Alfieri is a 2+2 concept car that was built to commemorate the brand’s 100th anniversary. Celebrating the Italian luxuxy automaker’s cenetary, the Alfieri concept was first unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March. It has dimensions of 4590 mm, 1,930 mm and 1,280 mm in length, width and height respectively. The exterior features a long and low nose, characteristic grille, sleek headlights, flared wheel arches, triple air ducts on the front fender, muscular rear haunches and Saetta badge on rear pillar.
The fastback roofline alongwith the bulging rear fenders, sleek tail lights and dual round tailpipes makes for an extremely sensuous posterior. The design of the Maserati Alfieri concept is inspired by the Maserati A6 GCS-53 that was designed by Pininfarina back in 1954.
The concept is named after Alfieri Maserati, an engineering genius who founded “Officine Alfieri Maserati” in Bologna about a hundred years ago. In the words of Lorenzo Ramaciotti, the mastermind behind the Alfieri project, “The Alfieri is a transition point between 100 glorious years of history and the future that is opening up before us.”
