Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image of its autonomous driving concept that has a sleek and sharp design, with a shape that is totally out of the world for automobiles.
As it is an autonomous driving vehicle, there wouldn’t be a need for conventional visibility; this allows designing the front and rear windscreen with concentration on better aesthetic appeal rather than on active safety.
Its lounge-style seating arrangement makes it possible to have the roof positioned at a relatively lower height than that of normal cars.
The concept will be unveiled at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5 at 8:00 p.m. (PDT). Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG/ Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, will do the honour of unveiling the vehicle.
