Is it a Beetle? Is it a Porsche? No, it’s a motormouse!

At first sight the picture above would suggest it is a crazy concept from a exotic Italian design firm, then slowly the picture gives a feeling that it is just a toy car. Only after a close observation of the presence of the odd extra-huge ‘spare wheel’ on the bonnet, it hits us that it is a darned mouse – the computer peripheral which we use to scroll through pages with our right hand.

This Motormouse (rightly called so) is a wireless mouse comes with a 2.4 GHz USB receiver to connect to your Computer. This good looking mouse’s design is inspired by the classic Porsche 911.

Though we feel the detailing could have been better, a scaled down Porsche 911 wouldn’t feel ergonomic at all, hence the slight deviation from the 911′s shape. This ergonomic optimization has resulted in the 911 inspired mouse looking more like a Volkswagen Beetle.

The best thing about the Motormouse is its usable ‘boot’ space which even its source of inspiration doesn’t have! There is a ‘boot’ where you can neatly tuck away the batteries and the receiver. This is something which Porsche should learn from Motormouse – usable boot space.

The Motormouse comes with a high-quality paint job and shiny alloy wheels. The Motormouse which retails at $50, can be ordered in three colors (silver, red or black) at Motormouse’s official website.
